VINEYARD CREDENTIALS
Parussi is the first MGA of the Western Slopes which one encounters when moving towards Castiglione Falletto from Alba, but the part which is visible is the less well-exposed one. The finest slope, in fact, is almost entirely within the amphitheater which extends from the border with Montanello up to the hamlet of Parussi, in the Annunziata area of La Morra.
A sub-zone, this, gathered into itself, apparently less favored than certain others, yet capable of producing wines of notable personality, at times rugged and earthy, at other times endowed with an elegance which is never insubstantial and whit tasty tannins and outstanding varietal notes.
